Long-Term Substitute Opportunity:  High School Spanish Teacher

August 21, 2025 - December 23, 2025

Seeking a long-term substitute to teach High School Spanish for the fall semester.  Candidates should hold a PA teaching certificate in Spanish (7-12) or be qualified through related experience, education, or language fluency.  This is a temporary full-time position beginning August 21, 2025, and continuing through December 23, 2025, supporting students in developing Spanish language skills and cultural understanding.  This position will be filled through our designated substitute staffing provider, ESS.  To apply, visit www.aasdcat.com and complete the online application.

Adult Education ESL Instructor for the AASD Adult Education Program
                Part-Time | 12-Month Position | Up to 25 Hours/Week
                Schedule: Monday-Thursday (Daytime Hours)
*        Monday: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM
*        Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
*        Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Primary responsibilities include lesson planning, class preparation, and teaching English to adult English Language Learners.

*Position and hours are contingent upon federal/state funding

QUALIFICATIONS:
        Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
        Experience in ESL preferred
        Strong English language and interpersonal skills; organizational skills
