* Instructional Designer
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or closely related field, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Minimum of two years of experience in the field of instructional/educational technology, including designing, developing, and delivering higher education technology based instructional projects and programs. Experience designing and producing multimedia resources, working with audio, video, and graphics. Knowledge of educational processes and pedagogies, especially in higher education. Experience designing or teaching online courses, especially in higher education. Familiarity with UDL, Accessibility and copyright standards. Extensive knowledge of current and emerging instructional and multimedia technologies. Proven ability to continually learn new and emerging instructional strategies. Demonstrated success in planning and delivering training. Experience in applying quality assurance standards to online course design and delivery. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within an academic community. Commitment to excellent customer service. Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
Treatment Plant Operator
Saint Francis University invites applications for a full-time 12-month position of Wastewater/Water Treatment Plant Operator in the Physical Plant Department. The Operator is directly responsible to the Wastewater/Water Treatment Plant Supervisor for the maintenance and operation of the water system, sanitary sew system and storm sewer system.
High school graduate with a minimum of five years of related experience in operating facilities of similar size and type. Valid PA Driver's license is required. Valid license for operation of Class AE-7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 ,13 and 14 Waterworks Facility from the PA DEP or willingness to obtain licenses. Valid license for operation of Class BE- 1, 2, 3, and 4 Wastewater Treatment Facility from PA DEP or willingness to obtain licenses. Proficient interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and communication abilities as well as the ability to operate standard equipment used in the operation of the plants. Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and DEP Wastewater/Water software/spreadsheets. Successful completion of the OSHA responsible person trench training is preferred.
